Ugh.

i believe universal is still clinging to the hulk movie rights for dear life, but i’m not sure if that’s been resolved.

It’s a Disney+ problem. The SW shows have the same issues the MCU does. Everything feels like its a movie that they had to stretch out to hit a specific episode count. It doesn’t seem like hardly anyone there understands how to properly pace and craft a TV show

I still can’t get over how they spent like $250 million on Secret Invasion and I guess none of that went to hiring a competent writer? That show was shockingly terrible.

Yeah, but fridges make that crappy white, soft ice. It melts in like two seconds. Those chips were clear and pure. Good commercial ice like the good Lord intended us to enjoy.

Right on the timing. They demonstrated the Nat/Syd connection with the omelette. It’s hard to make friends as an adult but I feel like when you do it’s swift and powerful. There’s real love between them, not least fueled by being caught in the storm of Carmy together.

It isn’t perfect, but it’s what we have. Apparently.

*You don’t actually need us to say who this footnote is about, yeah?

I don’t know why you would stay in a relationship where you are having sex you don’t want to have...”

I must be the only one who liked that plot twist.  Butcher laughing at Homelander after the reveal was the best kind of victory.

The world really dodged a bullet by not doing a comic-accurate The Boys.

The angle with his kid is actually kind of interesting now that the kid is older and has to choose sides.  If Starr wasn’t so good at it the whole thing would have fallen flat years ago though.

I love that episode so much because the newest Fak is just *perfect* and unexpected. Not spoiling who it is for those who haven’t gotten there yet, but that actor fits in so seamlessly as a Fak.

The thing is, Rowling was perfectly likable before she randomly decided to make “trans people want to rape me in the bathroom” her entire personality.

It’s textbook radicalisation. She got hung up on an issue and got sucked into echo-chambers that reinforced that hang-up into zeal.

Yeah, we got to see the joy of cooking and the joy of passing on knowledge to a new generation. It was beautiful.

OMG yes!

When asked for comment, the BDU (British Dementor’s Union) spokesghoul had this to say:

I don’t think you understand how irony works. You can’t just make false statements in response to nothing and have it make sense.

TDS last night just reaffirmed what I felt when they announced Stewart was returning: he’s from a time that no longer exists (and the show is far from relevant and vital).  They regularly get like 20 comments on a post on Twitter these days so it’s not really must-consume media anymore.
