Whuddup jezzies. In an unbelievably stressful week (home life, work life, the sustained hellscape of our politics) I had one HUGE bright spot. A few weeks back, I posted about possibly finding the sister that my mom had given up for adoption 8 years before I was born. I found her on ancestry.com.

I wonder if the hips look asymmetrical because of the boning in the corset portion? It looks to me as if she’s been sitting down, so the boning might have become bent/curled at her pelvis, sticking out forward the front? So this, combined with the camera angle might be creating this asymmetry.

I barely noticed the dress thanks to the awful eye make up. Are they trying to make her look terrible on purpose? Or is this of her own choosing?
