You ain’t lying about the AARP! My husband was crestfallen when he got the magazine a couple months before he turned 50. I shouldn’t have laughed. Mine should arrive this time next year and I’ve already had 3 years to regret that cackle of mine. He’s gonna savor that moment!

I’m glad they’ve banned fur sales in this manner but faux fur in fashion or anything is at least as unnecessary as real fur. It is unnecessary plastic. It’s frivolous consumerism as well. It’s all gross. 

My husband went to Notre Dame, where the had no Greek system and really values that experience. The admissions administrator at my law school told me they wouldn’t have accepted me if they’d known I was pregnant.  It was a real mindfuck.  I wasn’t a lawyer then but I was going to be and my husband was already practicing. Ugh.  Just thinking about it pisses me off.
