The opening line of this article reminds me of a dril tweet:

“Sir, it took some doing, but I secured those movie rights you wanted.”

The show’s racism did what it was supposed to. The only reason 99% of us even know the name of this school and know that it holds fashion shows is because of this shit.

I feel like getting Billy Porter as Audrey II is the only reason this remake is remotely interesting, although I’m sure Evans will do fine. I’m baffled by ScarJo, though. Sure, she’s bankable, but she’s also super bland and I seriously doubt she has the vocal chops to compare to Ellen Greene. And poor Egerton would

I found out that mine is The Exuberant Pontifications of Marston Flare: Carp Extraordinaire.
All knowing that has done is raised further questions, frankly.

Which doesn’t make the penalty out of line, it just means he’s a moron for jeopardizing his income by being way out of line.

You know what’s crazy? One can acknowledge that something may take a lot of work and think that the fame and money gained from that work is ill-gotten. It’s just insane how that may work but I know since you spend so much time on that giant horse of yours that you may not have time to consider things like that.

Coming soon: The Odd Couple starring Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby. Two old rapists share a prison cell. Watch the hijinks!

Seriously, Tim Allen? WTF you fucking trolling here for

I guess I might be a corporatist stooge or something, but for repeated abuse it wouldn’t pass my mind that a ban on video game participation was too harsh of a consequence.

Doesn’t seem too harsh to me. Taking away toys isn’t a particularly harsh punishment for a misbehaving child, so if an adult is going to actually make threats against people then this is the least I’d expect.

I don’t know what the obsession with giving him a suit armor is when he’s supposed to be a ninja. They’re trying to ground this in realism again, when nobody is asking for that.

“Okay, guys, okay. Okay. Listen to me - okay, listen. So what if we made a movie - listen to me - LISTEN - what if we made... if we made a movie, and in the movie...... the dad...... was....... pants. The dad was pants. A movie where the dad is pants. Right? Am I right? Look, am I... am I right?”

I like Brave okay, but mostly for Merida. The story itself has a lot of slow bits, and it’s fairly predictable. I’ll also admit to not liking Up much (I know!). I didn’t like the obnoxious dogcentric humor, and it was a little heavy-handed at times.

Its my contention that big name voice actors are not really ‘in’ the movies they do voicework for. Julia Louis-Dreyfus reading dialog into a microphone in a booth (I assume with her fellow actors nowhere around) is not Julia Louis-Dreyfus acting in the film.

Brave... got fucked by Lasseter firing Brenda Chapman. I don’t know how different it was when she was in charge but I suspect it was a better film.

Anyone else get the feeling that Jack Black passed on this first and that’s why they went with Chris Pratt?

Nemo might have started out A Line but they switched it to B Line when they discovered how merchandise-able it was.*

Yes. I think I saw the trailer for this 3 times (I have kids, so I see a lot of kids’ movies) before realizing it was a Pixar product.
