That power strip on the wall looks like you could move the outlet anywhere along the strip... from the plug type it looks European. Anyone know of such a beast? That would be so cool.

You can over-seal a home... the structure does need to "breathe".
I'm using Chrome more and more, but a few extensions are keeping me from making the switch. In time, those should come out.
My luck I would get done inventorying everything and then the world would self-destruct — I think my insurance would not cover that.
