I did something similar with 24 just before season 7 started. I did 6 seasons in about 2.5 weeks of winter break and was both thoroughly exhausted and pleased afterward. Don't think I could ever do that again with a show that has that amount of episodes. Closest I've come to another binge watch was The Shield but

Considering she worked as an assassin for hire before meeting Harold and Reese, I'd imagine she would have picked up a thing or two on how to fight.

I tend to think of those corny one-liners as one of Nolan and Plageman's little quirks that pays homage to how many procedural-type shows use that (or some shocking reveal) to transition to commercial breaks.

No need to kneecap people when you don't have to arrest them and then file police reports afterward.

I was thinking he'd be a good asset if he survived the gun fight at the end but as soon as they showed he had disappeared after that gun fight, I knew he'd be a goner at the hands of Samaritan. POI writers never seem to make things that easy for Team Machine.

They filmed the Skywalker Ranch scene on the backlot of WB and not some soundstage like Vasquez Rocks looked to be.

Plus the preview for the next episode showed her and Reese going headlong into Samaritan's operatives so I could see her activating it without the strong chance it compromises the rest of Team Machine's given identities. It doesn't really matter for her because of how frequently the Machine changes her cover story

If we were basing Harper's suitability when compared to Shaw's skillset, then she wouldn't be a good fit, but her ability to sweet talk her way out of sticky situations and assume new identities quickly can't be completely overlooked, as evidenced by the Machine's fake CEO's company reaching out to her. If anything,

I liked her character since it added an element of fun to John's part of the show and the writers left it open for her to return, which likely won't be too often with her still having her Vikings job.

I think the best thing that can be said about Harper is she knows to how manipulate a situation and survive, like any good con should. The fact she mentioned that she's received a text from Thornhill shows that the Machine thinks she could be of use somewhere down the road. While she may not have the same skillset

And I'm not sure that's the best thing to remind people of because of how different the characters are supposed to be.

Which site said this? I go through a lot of other entertainment sites and honestly didn't see this, although with so much information out there, I was bound to miss something.

They really don't show the guys having fun or going out together in a group (like in earlier seasons) by themselves. Far too often, it's them going through some relationship issues that don't have many comedic beats or it's just a pair of them that's limited by not having the others to play off of.

The writers have done those type of arguments way too often this season and they have a tendency to zap the momentum from the more comedic parts. The show did a better job balancing actual arguments and funner stories in earlier seasons into coherent, well-thought out episodes than what they're doing now. The

With them introducing Howard's half-brother soon, we're going to keep getting more fallout from Mrs. Wolowitz's death. Seems the only people who get good, interesting story arcs anymore are Howard and Bernadette. The rest just seem like they're stagnating in uninteresting relationships and/or life moments.

I've felt she's looked and felt out of place almost all season with that haircut. It feels like it's aged her out of the rest of the group since at times it makes her look either like a 40-year old lesbian or soccer mom, depending on the storyline, wardrobe choices, and whoever did her hair that day. It's funny that

Could easily be explained she needed to be at the hospital that night or that they don't spend every waking moment or day with each other.

I just think that they show that side of them way too often now when they used show how fun and geeky they were, which is what attracted many viewers to the show. Everyone just seems so angsty, miserable, and petty with how they're writing and shooting episodes now. They need to somehow make the show fun again.

I think the episode you're talking about was the one where Sheldon had to do tasks for Howard to meet Stephen Hawking and Sheldon commented about her weight while helping her find a dress.

Exactly what I was thinking. The writers too often go into the petty argument or relationship causing all the problems when some of the best episodes was the group getting into weird situations due to their social awkwardness or geekiness. They characters also don't feel as fun going or free-flowing as they used to
