How does this compare to isoBurn?

Since we spend more time staring at explorer than we do our desktop, this seems like a much more appropriate place to keep those motivational photos. The only thing I noticed was that explorer seems to lag a bit now. Guess I will have to weigh the positives.

@TheLostVikings: Ah, thank you, this is awesome! Currently running this with the "memory fox" extension and my usage is no less than 100mb. Usually it creeps up to 500mb and I have to reboot the browser. Thanks again!

Super nice setup! Only problem is that the heat generated by the inverter is going to cause the tape it is attached to to lose its grip.

@Phoshi: Actually FF is my default browser. I actually like it better than Opera primarily because of the extensions and I do think the FF GUI is better. My guess is this is a system dependent issue. Unfortunately for me FF runs like crap on my system. Some people run into this problem while others do not. Just look

@rpjrugby: I think the main reason there aren't many posts about Opera is because it already comes with everything. Also, because Opera is not a household name. How often do you hear about it in the media? I do have admit though that the extensions could be a little bit better.

@Phoshi: Actually, even with all that Opera destroys the competition. It is way more stable and faster than any other browser. I'm not sure about the latest release, but when I would have 50+ tabs open Opera didn't break a sweat while the other browser get a significant slow down.

@Prairie Moon: Actually, I think it came with Opera's first release of Opera Unite. I'm pretty sure the notes get stored to your Opera Unite account.

@SethEaston: Yeah, but every time you boot you have to mount that container which can be a pain after awhile.

I use DropBox 2gb and a 2gb thumb drive and keep both in sync. If I know I'm heading somewhere to use a public computer I just sync the thumb drive with my DropBox using SyncToy.

@el_basto: Sounds like a good plan to me.

This is what I don't get. What in the world can be accomplished during a 5min break? Okay so maybe that gives me enough to time for #1, but certainly not #2 unless I decide not to wipe. But then again don't we all use the bathroom or take a drink when we need to? Wouldn't that count for our 5min break? A 5min break to

No way, no how. There have been times where a folder gets copied into another folder accidentally. For example I had my cell phone files copied into a folder called "New Folder" which had been accidentally created. If I used this method, I would be screwed. Bottom line, I have to know what is inside a folder before I

Renting books to college students! LOL! Well some will treat the books well. The rest, well, if you don't mind your books smelling like alcohol, cigarettes and being used to squash the occasional bug, oh and of course the pages being used as ammo in case they just so happen to run out of paper towel balls, then by all

@MattyMattMatt: That might be because you haven't worn them in years. (=

Dang! And I had this idea about a year ago. The reason I never went through with it is because, well, its my desk and if I write on it, well then what would be the point of having a desk only for the stuff to get easily erased? It is also not a very portable solution either.

In case anyone wanted to know, those Purex 3-in-1 Complete Laundry Sheets are horrible. Don't waste your money.

Yeah, I actually ended up installing iTunes just a few days ago. The bottom line for me is that it just works. And it works out of the box. I've tried all the others which are pretty much fixer-uppers. Company wars aside, iTunes does it all. Podcasts, device sync, audiobooks (try to find me a decent non-iTunes

@theworldisasheep: That is definitely a racing seat. Very creative! Currently scanning this personal ideas.

@moe52: Dude, man, exactly! I thought I was the only Chrome user who misses this FF feature!
