We still need floppies in my opinion. For example, college courses. I used to hate putting a 956bytes worth of machine code on a 700mb cd. To me that was a waste of space and not very efficient or green. To me it is just a smaller alternative to a thumb drive, a definitely much cheaper, plus if you lose it, it is only

This reminds me a lot of a light weight app called TraxTime which was an older app. Unfortunately it is no longer supported.

I think somewhere else on this blog there was a post about a guy who made his whiteboard with glass.

@jupiterthunder: The cup is ingenious. The dust from drilling wood can fly everywhere in the house. There is now way possible that you would be able to get everything with the vacuum after your done. Another thing you may want to do is keep the central air unit in your home running as well. Heck, if you can do the

@Denise Murray: Smirnoff is pretty cheap although there are some that are cheaper. Pick up the one with the lowest price tag.

Horrible study. Who were the people in the study? Were they physicists, bums, the mentally ill, kid or adults with learning difficulties, etc? And there is so much science behind these games that they all offer something different. And some have been studied with a result different from this article. Bottom line is

Yeah, no all I need to do is figure out how to batch all these LH articles. (=

I cannot believe the year is 2010 and audio books (.aa extension) still aren't handled natively by media players!

That is the downside to being the most popular application, os, etc. Look at Microsoft vs Linus vs Apple. Ask any athlete. It always more difficult to hold the title than to obtain it.

Great bleach alternative: 1tsp of Tea Tree Oil in 1 cup of distilled water makes an excellent mold killer.

@Phoshi: So true, especially considering that their first servers were "hand me downs" and then when they needed more juice, their next set of servers were made out of lego blocks because they couldn't afford all the extra computer parts and could only afford the motherboards.

@cynep: LOL, well I did say in my comment though "Aside from the Authentic Pizza places that you find in New York, Chicago, etc, Papa John's does make the best pizza". For me right now this is how I would rank them.

@Tracer: Awesome, another PJ's fan. As for Dominoes? No way, never again. I think their new recipe is absolutely horrible. I used to get their 2 for one specials all the time due to low cost and the fact it really wasn't all that bad, but once they changed their recipe I stopped eating there. I would have to be

SMPlayer is simply amazing. I have some very large avi and mpg files that WMP and VLC struggle to play. They will play them, but at an extremely sluggish pace. SMPlayer on the other hand has no issues with them. Also when seeking (searching with horizontal scrollbar), SMPlayer allows you to see every single frame. And

@jupiterthunder: No argument from this corner. Aside from the Authentic Pizza places that you find in New York, Chicago, etc, Papa John's does make the best pizza. I digress. I suppose the price is justified. (=

Whew! For a second there I thought I was the only one who thought Papa John's was expensive.

@seric: Thanks for the response everyone. Not sure I could do pine nuts due to allergies. I have these stupid allergies to dairy, citrus, nuts, and soy. It's a really bummer, and really limits what I can eat. I will give the Olive Oil with just the Pine Nuts a try though.

@drjman: Sweet! Thanks for getting back. I think this is the route I may take then, especially if the only issues are with divx, xvid, and mkv. Most of my files are either mp4, flv, or mpg. I had thought about getting the Acer Aspire, but was thinking that the maintenance from having to keep the windows version on it

What are your thoughts on the Xbox 360 as a media extender? Seems like it would make installation and usage even easier. Not sure though.
