I once ghosted on a dude I had been seeing for a few weeks and liked quite a bit...of course, that was because my sister passed away very suddenly and I was so destroyed that it was all I could do to get out of bed in the morning, let alone have contact with anyone that wasn’t absolutely necessary. It took me a long

Midwest, actually.

The single biggest danger to black people? White fear. A scared white person’ll get you killed faster than you can say, “Boo”.

Oh no, fo shizzle was definitely your Aunt Esther’s doing. :P

I can’t wait to watch her show, White is the New Black.

I’d say you couldn’t make this shit up, but apparently you really, really can. There’s just no end to this woman’s fuckery.

Reason #6,382,712 why Wendy Williams is a known dumbass.

There’s a video in which she uses the word in the context of some dumb joke about the pronunciation of Nigeria. You can find it on YouTube (like we need further proof of her assholeness).

Afro history? As in, the history of the afro hairstyle?

She actually didn’t start it. It’s an expression that’s been in use in hip hop and AAVE for quite some time. She may have brought it to the attention of a new segment of people but she’s in no way the originator of an expression that black folks have been using for a while.

I thought I was the only one who remembered this! My sister and I use it all the time. Dude was such a petty little shit but he’ll always have a place in my heart for this gift.

Nailed it!

Or course, there will always be people who continue to use the term (willfully or otherwise). I fail to see how this bears any relationship to our individual choices not to contribute to, or perpetuate, this lazy and wrongful usage of the term. This is such an odd way of thinking, because people bandy about words all

White Hispanics are every bit as “ethnic” as darker-skinned Hispanics. People really need to stop using “ethnic” as a synonym/shorthand for non-white. Believe it or not, even white folks have ethnic backgrounds. This makes no sense.

The irony is that, as a white woman, she would have been the primary beneficiary of affirmative action anyway - provided she’d actually stayed white. SMH.

LOL.

I saw her at a party once about 10 years ago (I was a teenager tagging along with my older sister and her friends) and I was just mesmerized by her gorgeousness. From what I could tell, she also had a huge personality and was the life of that particular party.

You can really tell he cares not one iota. LOL.

Definitely Jamie Bochert.
