What a piece of junk.
What a piece of junk.
I want to take a moment for those who live outside of Minnesota to try and express How Very Seriously And Deeply the people here take the Wetterling case. I moved here in 2000, and it was mere weeks before it was explained to me that one left one’s porch light on for Jacob, and how his disappearance was a loss of…
I am so glad I got a gaming PC this year. With a good number of “console” exclusive games also showing up on PC, I’m almost starting to wonder what the point of a PS4 or Xbox is. Granted, Ps4 still has Bloodborne and a version of Arkham Knight that runs well. But all of this PS4 Pro stuff is making me glad I can…
No console, Pro or Scorpio, is going to run games in native 4k. I don’t know how the rumor started but top of the line PC’s are just starting to be able to do that. 0% chance on a console at this time. Source I have 2 980ti’s in SLI and I’m not playing in 4k with 60 fps.
Combine that with Apple Watch being irrelevant for years now...
Yeah, this seems like they’re chasing the zeitgeist after it’s already come, gone, and come to be despised.
Not everyone uses an iPhone though. And of the iPhone subset, not everyone also has the watch.
Another thing to consider; An interesting statistic I remember learning in film school: When one watches something only once, they only really take in %60 of everything that’s going on in the frame and %40 of what’s going on in the sound design. And that increases with consecutive viewings.
When trying to make a point, it’s good to have a point based in reality. It’s a fact people saying “gg ez” are doing it to be demeaning to other players. It’s intentionally being an asshole. Don’t pretend otherwise. Don’t pretend “It doesn’t hurt me because I’m above taking the bait on petty insults,” because you’re…
So...you’re claiming moral superiority for not calling people names while people name-call you while calling you out for shitty behavior.
When people say something that offends you, they’re morally superior jerks who are hating on you. When you say something that offends other people, they’re “weak willed” and you aren’t “being a jerk at all.”
It didn’t go over their head. Your statement is a little privileged and unfeeling towards your peers. The lack of compassion was completely understood, nothing to get confused about. Hence the comparison to society’s biggest icon that represents lack of empathy.
I’m starting to wonder if you are just an expert level troll.
Look, I’ll come at this from a different angle. You ever play sports? I play sports. Now when we finish a game, it is customary, in pretty much every sport, to shake hands with your opponent. This usually comes with “Good game”.
That’s where the practice came from, that’s why people do it in online games.
Now you walk…
Because they need your input? I am guessing if a team gets smoked, they are pretty sure that it was “ez” for the other team. Being informed that it was “ez” or that they need to “try harder” is not in any way constructive or necessary so there is no need to say it unless you are just being a braying jackass and…
No judgement, just straight talk: you don’t get to choose what offends other people. The condescending tone implied in “GG EZ” offends a lot of people, even if it doesn’t offend you. That’s empathy 101.
Whether it truly was easy for you or not doesn’t factor into what’s sportsman-like and what isn’t. Telling someone they need to try harder at the end of a game isn’t sporting. Neither is telling them they were an easy opponent for you. They’ll know by the score. Say something encouraging and friendly or just don’t say…
One minute they're replacing your words in a game, the next they're putting your head in a cage w/ rats and watching you masturbate in the corner.
When people refer to moves like this as “Orwellian” it really makes me think people need to spend more time reading books and less time playing video games.
Meh. Saying something ugly and regrettable in the heat of the moment kind of pales in comparison to murdering your children.
