That's… fine I guess? I agree with the sentiment, but as people get offended by literally everything, all the time, it seems like it would be very possible to throw the baby out with the bathwater in this situation.

Wow. That was like 4 times the level of aggression needed for that response.

How does not being offended by slurs, and saying the f-word to my husband, who is gay, make me like someone who stereotypes characters in a sitcom?

That's a good question. I know I wouldn't confront the guy, that's for sure. I'd be more interested in talking to my nephew about not letting words hurt you.

I tried to google what you were talking about and I have no idea. What did he do? I mean besides working on the goddamned atrocity that was Will and Grace for a little bit. Do you mean all the stereotyping? I don't see how that relates.

My nephew is autistic, and if someone went up to my nephew and called him a retard I would be offended. If someone said "this new phone is retarded" I wouldn't be.

I agree it's offensive, but I also agree everybody is too sensitive about the supposed offensiveness of words online, it seems super silly to me.

I don't use offensive slurs, they just don't bother me unless used with malice. I don't give a fuck about any grey areas, it doesn't even relate to me.

Fair enough. Still though, questions can't be bitchy/dumb/show etc and would that have offended you?

If someone is hurt from someone saying "people keep asking really retarded questions" Then anything could hurt them. It's not like the person was like "That stupid retard, etc."

But what if the question was retarded?

He sounds like a moron, but that being said, why do you care if he says retarded? Is it any different then any other insult or slur? Calling someone dumb insults those who can't speak, calling someone slow is offensive, calling someone a bitch is sexist, calling someone a fucker is slut-shaming, etc. I can play this

This sounds like a movie made for me. I'm really excited to see this whenever it eventually comes out.

I didn't even think of this.

So we are just supposed to get enraged about every stupid fucking thing someone says in jest these days, I guess.

I already blame Trump for everything else. This falls squarely on CNN, and specifically Kfile, for being the news equivalent of a gossip magazine.

It's really, really unprofessional and really gross.

My thoughts on this are somewhat varied.

I do agree that movie was fucking terrible. It deserved a C- at absolute best.
