Exactly. I know that most people don’t like applying context clues to their conclusions but hot damn. Just a tiny bit of critical thinking does a body good.
People are always going to have shitty opinions in the heat of the moment. Just look at historical opinion polling on things like the Civil Rights Movement, the McCarthy trials and Nixon. This is a good thing and it will benefit both progressives and our society in the long run.
I think they knew and that they weren’t honest when they said this was the first complaint. They’re definitely getting ahead of something.
