Mayim is also an anti-vaxxer so maybe we shouldn’t take what she has to say about anything very seriously at all. Pretty sure that child stars who go on to earn fancy college degrees might not be held to the same standard as the rest of their classmates. Just a hunch.

I recently found out that a missing family member had been murdered in salacious fashion. People are vultures about this shit. Think twice about your true crime obsession, kids.

As badly as I occasionally feel for Lindsay when her name comes back up in the news cycle, I can’t help but think self-obsession is her defining characteristic. Her parents are such id-driven people, and none of them seem particularly intelligent. I don’t think she ever had a chance to be anything other than what she

Oh boy do I ever not want to hear “that was never my intention” again. Intention doesn’t really matter, does it? After all, if it WAS your intention to hurt, you probably wouldn’t admit it.

I liked this because it makes a very necessary point about how capitalism is bad. Not because I think people need to “get over it” or whatever. Not sure which point you were trying to make.

I don’t think impeachment is a realistic goal in this political climate, and I think that accepting fact of the Trump presidency (not approving, but accepting) is really important for most people, especially moving into 2018 and 2020. But you’re right about the calculus. I wish more people saw it this way.

Critical thinking is an important antidote to anxiety.

I’m guessing you know a WHOLE LOT about children, including how they tend to regulate their emotions. Easy to relate to, huh?

I wouldn’t focus on fixing Rusty. I would focus on creating a more just society that provides education and social support for everyone + doesn’t create the condition of a war on drugs that makes communities such as his so vulnerable to militarized cartel violence. That would result in fewer Rustys. There will always

“It’s the worst thing ever,” says person who’s literally never experienced a hardship.

I wear leggings under shorts because I have a big ass and an assertive vulva plus thick thighs, so if I wear the leggings alone I’m revealing more of myself than I want to and if I wear the shorts alone they end up riding up and chafing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I usually don’t like the apology nitpick pile-on, but seriously no one should ever say “taken out of context” unless they can provide the proper context that shows that what was quoted wasn’t actually what was meant.

My father is like this as well. More guns in the house than people to use them, and ironically, the guns are the most valuable thing in the house. Get rid of the guns and there’d be no incentive to break into his house. I don’t feel empathy for my father, though I hope I’ll get there someday. I have empathy for Rusty.

Thanks for your reporting, Kayla. Great work with the journalism, and good job conquering your fears to do something important to you.

More people need to talk to the Rustys of the world. Rusty tells us something important about what motivates the extremist right-wing elements of our society. This is not a healthy man.

That’s a cute attempt at condescension. I’m glad you spend your time fantasizing about internet comments. Sounds like a v. fulfilling lifestyle!

I’m aware that he’s Australian, but he developed his media strategy in the UK and brought it here.

Thanks for bringing me out of the grays <3

“love nest” WHAT THE FUCK

His creepy attitude is on FULL DISPLAY in so many of his films. Manhattan is shocking. Even Annie Hall features a scene in which an elementary-aged Alvy forces an unwanted kiss on a little girl, who wipes her mouth and acts with disgust afterwards. He gets in trouble with the teacher, but Alvy was “simply expressing a

Yeah wow god forbid we should start taking a critical look at people who abuse their power.
