Keep in mind that NK is also a crazy and repressive state with highly unusual beliefs about the nature of the world. That’s why it’s more concerning when they do it.

The cars would look kick-ass too.

Please correct me if wrong, but wasn’t the first Iraq war the “test” run for the f-117? Was an untested technology that seemed to work pretty well to me. It would be hard to imagine the military asking for specific requirements from its aircraft and then not know what to do with them.

I don't really want to know which force is superior, since there's only one way to find out. Hopefully everyone comes to their senses.

I don’t agree that there is any part of the spectacle reinforced or improved by someone getting hurt. Steps to protect the drivers head would not affect the racing, but it seems this isn’t employed so we can enjoy watching someone gorked by flying debris.

Yeah, I’d be ok with a safety cage. Wouldn’t change the excitement or nature of the competition one bit for me. I wonder if the drivers would accept them or not.

“Now Daniel, chopsticks is the most popular piano song in the world, so if you get it wrong, everyone will notice. You mind find your transition form c-minor to d-major a little smoother if you finger tap like this.”

Jacques Villeneuve is getting back in shape by competing in formula E for a year, then coming in as the number 1 for Haas.

I love how much detail there is from the thermal. Can see exactly which d-bag is responsible and where he throws it when he runs.

Right, so they should recognize that it shouldn’t be sold for close to the price of a new one. It should be sold for what they paid plus a reasonable handling fee.

The flip side is that the dealership comes up with their offer using the exact opposite method. And why is it that the dealership’s demo with 10,000km is only discounted by the value of the freight/PDI, but if you tried to sell them that same car, it would only be worth 70% of its original value.

I’m not so sure that Stewart is innocent. Every time I watch the video, my thoughts change a bit, and currently can’t figure out why he’s so far up the track. I know the arguement is that he may not have seen the driver, but it also seems reasonable to put as much distance as possible between yourself and a wrecked

Funny thing is that it’s not. You may have the most legitimate argument in the world, but it can seriously cost you 50G to get back the money you lost. I’ve been in a similar situation and was advised that an exceptional result would be to get back 25% of what was lost once all legal fees and court costs were figured

Great if it’s only 5k, but when cars are involved, it can be orders of magnitude more.

Noble, but it will never happen. It’s easier to lie and take the small risk of a lawsuit, since suing someone for $10k can cost you sixty, and 1-2 years of your time. Until that issue gets sorted, the assholes will continue to lie, steal, and cheat.

There’s a charger hellcat sitting in the dealership near me that they can’t sell. They are begging someone to buy it. Too bad it’s one of those icky Canadian cars though.

Agree that Tyler always has an interesting take on whatever topic - usually one that I never thought I would be interested in. Always learn something every time I come here.

I think you summed it up quite nicely!

Perhaps, until you realize what all those pricks are saying about you in the corvette.

This one’s easy. But the 911 because you will never gets your hands on a z06 for about two years. It's also a better all around car.
