I’m not surprised that our politicians are for sale - as much as it disgusts me - no one should be. What constantly surprises me is that our politicians are for sale for so little money.

I think this story does a good job clarifying that what this supposedly small group of Dem Congresspeople wants is an Impeachment **INQUIRY** not an Impeachment VOTE.

Pelosi and the other Dem leaders not wanting to impeach “cause it might cost us the election AND the Senate won’t vote to impeach anyway” is the realest example of Not Seeing the Forest for The Trees I’ve ever seen.

Maaaaaannnn, that would be hilarious. It would also be just another one of a ridiculous number of absolutely creepy similarities between the Nixon and Trump administrations.

It almost seems like this is the one thing for which “Executive Privilege” can be claimed. Except...the legal analysis I keep reading and hearing states that since Mcgahn was allowed to talk to Mueller, Executive Privilege has already been waved and it can’t magically be reinstated.

These so-called conservatives have so far been able to make the uninformed believe that their hatred of abortion and is about caring for the unborn and religious liberty. That argument starts to fall apart when they say the same about birth control.
