Awesome, thanks for clarifying. The Hill leans right, so that headline is midleading in that direction. I feel better now!

But Bannon worked at Goldman’s so for some reason that makes no sense to me but apparently does for others he’s CLEARLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY not anti-semitic.
Great point. Once I am underway, I typically use the steering wheel controls too for volume and media. For climate control, I just like being able to look over and see a big knob without searching a screen for a flat image of a button. The 3D-ness and “touchability” of buttons and knobs shouldn’t be underestimated.
I think the counter protest purchases have been driving sales up.
Does the “sovereign citizen” thing actually work for people....? Not that i want to try, but all the videos I’ve seen of them end up with busted car windows, arrests, screaming wives and children, and really really pissed off cops. Is all that worth it?
Oh that’s awful. Good joke, but god damn that picture is rough.
I hope this gets you permantly ungreyed..... Well played.
Compared to the others I read on the causes, like The War That Ended Peace and Guns of August notably, I thought Sleepwalkers did the best job of explaining why, not what - which is what I am usually looking for.
My method is quantity. I have 16 news sites bookmarked, not including the Kinja/Gawker network. They range from Reuters to Al Jazeera to Radio Free Europe to the Hill (which has the craziest commenters, imo).
How is Wonkette these days? I was a reader for a long time, but the schtick wore thin after awhile. Iz it still I haz hamburger speak over there?
I like Fusion, and it does certainly remind me of Gawker. I am curious what the Gawker Germamanim or Selenium site will be. (can’t remember the element)
This has nothing to do with my views. Your post was about feeling empathy for people who voted for Trump. You are asserting that they were duped. They were not duped. They are mostly racists who voted for a racist candidate. Don’t dress it up like it’s anything beyond that, because it simply isn’t true in the majority…
I do, and thanks for asking.
It’s been 100 years since WW1, and 100 years today that the US became involved. It’s a very apropos article.
I’ll add to that. IMO, WWI is Great Britain’s fault. They could have stopped the course of events several times and chose not to. Germany was the primary driver of the causes of the war, but Britain could have helped avoid it.
One of the black handers did manage to injure a member of the Arch duke’s party with a bomb earlier in the day. But yes, most pussied out at the last minute. I believe there are bronze footprints in the sidewalk that mark the event in Sarajevo today.
YES YES YES AND ONE MILLION MORE YESES.

Team sports is out of hand. It’s another way for people to divide themselves into tribes. If Kentuckians are serious about murdering a human over an inconsequential sport ball game, then what hope do we have that political divisions (which do matter) can ever be reconciled...?
Why wouldn’t the vest be under the blazer. That would have been kind of a bad ass look. The way he has it, he looks like a child.
