But what I love the most about my little egg-shaped hatch, is that you can really trash it and beat on it hard without fear of breaking it.

It’s my birthday today! I’m 33! Fuck!

You know what they (we) say;

My counterargument would be that, since everything else in China is cheaper (except perhaps energy?), operating robots there would cost less as well. Everyone in the factory works for less. Engineers and designers work for less. Parts made in China cost less. In general, all support costs are less than they would be

So what’s to stop the manufacturers moving the robots to China - or even manufacturing them there?

I had some fun with hypermiling some months ago, but it ultimately became boring, inconvenient (for my fellow motorists) and ridiculous (turning off the A/C in summer comes to mind). I did, however, develop some good habits that I can use without getting shot at.

I’m pretty sure that the splitting part is to keep the passengers away from the inevitable fire part.

To be fair, they actually included man-hours in the repair estimate of the Cosworth last week. That had been my biggest beef with the show from the start. Now, it’s no guarantee that the show will always include labor in the repair estimate, but they did this time.

And how. The Cross Bronx is the only stretch on this list that sucks donkey balls 24/7. There is no “safe” time to use it.

Yuengling. Craft beer that costs less than Bud. If I can’t get that, it’s Heineken. PBR will do in a pinch. That’s it for me. I was a Schlitz/Piels drinker before all of the buyouts.

I made a Kramer habit out of pushing the envelope before Kramer existed with my 86 CRX Si. One fine day, I ran out of fuel about 200 feet from a gas station. Get out and push? HA! I put the car in first, engaged the starter and cranked my way to the first available pump.

We still poke fun at Joseph Lucas (The Prince of Darkness). Why should we stop ribbing AR?

Last time I heard, Jersey was a blue state. If that’s so, then the majority of this guy’s customers are liberal.

Is it so hard to develop an algorithm that detects excessive returns or non-delivery complaints by a customer?

Not despicable, but for many (me included), it’s a deal breaker. I just hate the idea of having to look to select a gear and poke at a button. One transmission, one selector. I guess it’s a manual for me if I want an Accord.

I can’t disagree.

And how! It really felt like the Auditorium came off it’s foundation that night.

I’m reminded of a time when I lived in Maine on those wavy unstriped roads. One Friday night, we were headed to a J. Geils concert in Bangor and needed a ride. One of the kid’s (we were 16ish) parents let us take their 411. Even though I was merely a passenger, I was blown away at how well the car handled the rough

Newbie here - missed that one. Similar setup though...
