I think it’s the mania keeping you up, Dan.
+1 on the Lexus, BUT if safety is a concern, the BMW is a better choice with a billion airbags.
It’s more likely than the release of Half-Life 2 Episode 3, but only just.
I suspect that, as much as some would like it (including German politicians), VW will not be allowed to die. After all, as our banks here are, they are considered “too big to fail” and the fuckers in the VW board room know it.
...and the ghost of Gruppe B say:
Holy shit.
They are the douchiest of douchebags, trust me. Say what you will about BMW drivers, but they at least know how to drive. “Ratty” drivers are just posers with bad attitudes.
Hell no. I wasn’t a “good boy”, but it never occurred to me to do something like that. Different strokes, I guess.
I’ve never driven a BMW smaller than the 7 series. I rented one, and I gotta say that it is mind-altering. It’s firm in all the right ways, but cushy where it needs to be. You get in, start it up, turn on the stereo and life’s bullshit melts away. Once you get comfortable and settle in the right lane frame of mind,…
Damn, that explains how shopping cart wheels get all fucked up. I’ve always wondered....
Jesus Christ, do all Top Gear versions have to air on BBC frigging America? What’s the goddamned point if you can only access them through the Trans-Atlantic pipeline?
“Most” could be as little as 51%. All of the *adult* mechanics I know nearby drive Toyotas. I have two mechanic cousins in California and Texas that drive Hondas. It may be anecdotal to you, but this evidence is overwhelming to me.
Manhattanites do seem to hate cars. When I worked there, my coworkers suggested selling my car and getting an apartment there. So cute! Still, you should see what rolls out of there on Friday afternoons. It’s pretty damned impressive.
Most mechanics drive Toyotas or Hondas because they know what works and do not want to spend time fixing their own wheels. So you can drop that from your list of insults to a contributor here.
Exclamation point!
To quote someone, somewhere, there are 3 kinds of lies - lies, damned lies and statistics. If you deny that there was a huge surge in gun sales after Newtown that has not been maintained under Trump, then you are either slow, deluded or a troll.
I new that was coming. Good point, but we can find buyers elsewhere. Sure, Exxon is champing at the bit to do business there. We should give Exxon a choice - keep their (ridiculous) subsidies here or buddy up with Russian oligarchs. Considering the state of the petroleum economy, I’m sure that they would choose the…
How is Russia an important trade partner? To us, they are just a consumer economy. What do they really have to offer but things we either have or can obtain elsewhere?
Yeah, I kinda lost it.
