Tell me again what the Trabant had going for it?
Dogs in pickup beds is illegal in many states and just plain [insert insult here].
The Japanese and Koreans make cars here, often of better quality than home market versions and have happy workers and management. Maybe it’s that last bit; everyone’s happy. If Trump gets nasty, they will just build “more better” cars here. You won’t hear them whining, is my bet.

He doesn’t smoke or drink. Sad!
Just think of how plentiful and cheap salvaged parts will be for your gasoline VW if these are recycled. Alternatively, if a fix can be implemented, you will be able to get a slightly used diesel VW for pocket lint.
If this administration slaps tariffs on imports as promised, Joe Sixpack is going to be mightily pissed when his cost of living jumps 15%+ and will withdraw his support of Trump and Co.
