Yeah, I read that as attacking toxic behavior that many gamers engage in, which includes such things as harassment and death threats. I don’t read it as attacking in anyway people that complain in a legitimate manner. Thus, arguing with him would be defending toxicity.

The OP, was about the bad actors, not the legitimate criticism from polite people. So, if you are posting in this thread arguing with his OP, which these people were, then you are therefore supporting the bad acts and actors we’re talking about. Why would you even post an argument against him if you weren’t defending…

The article and then OP’s post, wasn’t about legitimate complaints. Stop fucking talking about legitimate complaints. This was never about that. If you’re arguing with OP, which you are, then you are for the illegitimate complaints - the harassment, etc. Because that’s what his post was about.

If you’re not defending death threats and harassment, why did you even comment initially on OP’s post? That’s what he was talking about.

No one deserves death threats over a $60 game, not even the people actually responsible for releasing it, let alone low level devs. That’s what we’re talking about.

Literally no one is saying that legitimate criticism isn’t okay.

What entitlement does he have? That people shouldn’t be personally attacked and get death threats just because they worked for a company that put out a bad game? Yeah, we are all entitled to not receive death threats for shit like that.
