This is some weird bullshit right here. WTF is owning up to one’s alma mater? Why the fuck should he give money to the school? He likely got very little out of it, like many people. He sounds like a really shitty guy, but this strange idea about him owing his alma mater millions of dollars is fucking bullshit nonsense.

It sounds like Schultz sucks, but a good 50% of this article is stupid as fuck. No school is owed donations by their successful alumni. I’d have a lot of second thoughts about donating to the schools I’ve attended, as school administration generally sucks everywhere. I’d likely only donate to a specific program or

Dude was being sarcastic.

Why did everyone respond with the same response? FFS.

Chivalry is misogyny.

No. Because videos suck.

I don’t think they really listen to their lawyers at that company. It’s kind of Musk’s thing.

Ah, okay. Just quoting the mileage part made it look like you were saying everyone should buy used if they only drive 3k miles a year, not just the guy in the article, at least it did to me.

COTD

Alternatively, buy what you want and keep it a long time. I come from a family where we keep our cars for years (my current car is about 11 years old (2009 built in 2008) and could go another 20 easy with how little I drive it. But I hate it. It’s boring. When I can eventually afford to drive something I like, I’m

The average life expectancy after retirement, for men, is pretty damn low. There’s evidence to show that the later you retire, the longer you will live.

My point is that people in sports get away with it (physical attacks) more, even though it’s hit the news.

Which was basically OP’s point.

You get fired and possibly charged with assault and battery in most careers if you physically attack someone.  And it hits the news sometimes. Sports? Might hit the news, but generally less firing happens.

Part of the reason education has gotten so expensive is the easy access to hundreds of thousands of dollars to study degrees that don’t make money, or in shitty programs with no oversight from anyone not invested in making the school more money.

Agreed, but we need to stop selling kids so hard on various degrees. Let them know they aren’t going to make shit. Let them know how hard it is in  the field that can make good money to actually make good money, and what that entails, etc. I say this as an attorney, with a graduate law degree on top of my JD.

Er, if it were pounds it would be €0,01 wouldn’t it?

Nope. The OP said .010, not 0.10.

I fill my tank like once every two months, so I don’t pay attention to any of these except for my average MPG.

What if I outfit it with armed two car-guards, and also have an armed bodyguard with me. Will it still get stolen?

Any resources that would let me know what I’d need to learn to get into those types of jobs? I’m an attorney, but I really don’t like being an attorney. Studying the law was fun, the practice of law sucks.
