Disappointing? Try an absolute embarrassment. Only 4 additional MPG for the Hybrid? Fuhgetaboutit.
What time of the year did you get your 38 MPG? Prius's are notorious for losing MPG in the winter.
Hello, failing timing belt tenionser...
The Catera's 3.0L Vauxhall UK engine had a nasty habit of its timing belt tensioner failing, trashing the engine. Once that happens, it's never right.
The Catera's engine was its achilles heel.
When my '98 Catera's engine blew over the timing belt tensioner, it was never the same.
I still see some last-model year Catera's on the road, so that has to account to something (albeit it's damning with faint praise.)
The Catera in the states had a particularly nasty tendency to have the timing belt fail, causing a massive engine failure. GM did a quiet recall at first, but even that wasn't enough and had to do a full recall.
Let's not forget Wegman shot Polaroid 8 x 10s of his Weimaraners....
Too bad Pan-X never was in 120...
For those of you who have the LP of the KBC Band's only release, it tells the hidden truth inside the album jacket:
Yep-the printer manufacturer's actually added yellow dots when printing questionable materials to stop this kind of nonsense from happening because they knew the digital world was getting that good.
Best vinyl pressings always came out of Japan, where they used 100% virgin vinyl and didn't press the living crap out of the stampers.
That's Toto, not Toro.
How soon we forget Jerry the Dacshund and his human's automation.
Bester from Babylon 5, hands down.
