The rivalry between the USWNT (and its fans) and the Canadian team is real and been around for a while. History matters, and as much as I like Kyle and D Math, it’s obvious this is continued fallout from the 2012 Olympics.

There’s a ton of not-great history between the US and Canadian women’s soccer teams as well, stemming from the 2012 Olympics (And whatever the hell the racial stuff was with the Canadian fans and Sydney Leroux).

No one involved in the scene - writers, directors and the actors - say they intended that scene to be rape. Which I’ve chosen to take on face value, because whatever was on the screen was a mess.

True. Guardians is the one I’d probably add to that list next. But I think a lot of the relationship is on the page in Endgame as well.
