Now that you mention it, Donald Trump does seem like an Andy Kaufman character: Blatantly offensive and yet oddly funny as well.

How is it that this column managed to mention Joss Whedon not even once?

I'd like to think that most liberals would prefer that women AND men avoid combat as much as possible. Why drag another gender into something we should only be involved with as a last resort?

Iggy Pop recently played a couple of their older songs on his BBC Radio show and said "I wanna go to the Dog Party!" I've been to the Dog Party numerous times (and got to be a puppet boy in one of their videos), and I think I speak for Gwen and Lucy when I say "You're always gonna be on the guest list, Iggy!"

Yeah, Kepi's been super-supportive and has done several tours with them. Gwen and Lucy were 13 and 11 respectively when I saw them perform for the first time in Sacramento. I've literally watched them grow up during the past seven years, and they've rocked my world the whole way. So glad the A.V. Club is getting the

I'm not sure if "Melinda and Melinda" is Woody Allen's worst film, but it's gotta be way up there. Personally, I like his earlier funny films the best. *wink*

I gave up on "Nightline" some time ago. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to mention that Farrah Fawcett had passed away because they just couldn't get enough of Michael Jackson's death. It dominated their stories for that week. I used to watch "Nightline" to get an idea of what was going on in the world

I'm sure this has been covered already, but Fine Young Cannibals were named after a 1960 film starring Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood called "All the Fine Young Cannibals." Don't know why they chose that particular film title, but I suppose you could say they borrowed from various musical genres during their brief

Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates in Psycho. Gus Van Sant's remake certainly helped prove that!

Not sure whether it qualifies or not, but I thought I'd mention The Loud Family's "Total Mass Destruction" anyway.

Roadhouse all the way!

At least you mentioned that there was more to the character than her exceptional bottom. I prefer more ample derrieres myself, so that didn't factor in at all for me when I fell in love with Lorelei. It was all that other stuff you mentioned that did it for me.

And I should add that Lane and Zack had great sex all the time and not a single baby popped out of her!

What I wanted to see for those two is that they'd open up a coffeehouse in town called the True Love where cool bands would play. This idea was actually inspired by an actual rock 'n' roll couple in Sacramento named Kevin & Allyson Seconds who actually did open up a coffeehouse called the True Love where cool bands

For me it was Kimberly Shaw on "Melrose Place." I didn't start watching that show from the beginning, so I was lucky enough to catch it when Kimberly was present and accounted for. That chick was kwazee!! I think I was kidding myself about enjoying the rest of the characters' stories cause I felt no need to watch

What about The Negro Problem's "Joys & Concerns"? It's got 12 very good songs and then FIVE unlisted tracks that are mostly worth listening to. And as I recall, you do have to wait a while before the first one starts up.

What about Tom Green in "Freddy Got Fingered"? Or does that not count as hiding? He guts a dead deer and then wears its carcass in order to become it. Then a truck slams into him because the idiot is running around the road pretending to be a deer. Almost became roadkill, but he survived and continued to do insanely

What about Secret Squirrel & Morocco Mole, Atom Ant, and Quick Draw McGraw (AKA El Kabong)? Would like to see all of them as well.

I've seen Seasons 1-3 and will be starting 4 soon. Loved the references to "Back to the Future" and "Twin Peaks," both of which I'm sure influenced the show to some degree. (I won't get started on my theory regarding the movie marquee gag representing "the other side" cause it's terribly elaborate, but I think it was

"Once More, With Feeling" and "Doppelgangland" are my co-favorites. Willow was always the character I was most drawn to, so I was disappointed that she didn't have a song of her own in the musical episode I had waited for since Season 4. Hell, I actually wrote a song for her called "I Don't Understand" the day after
