We needed a few more shots of his club foot to really understand it, so I’m still confused.

The scene between Larys and Alicent was easily the hardest thing to watch all season.

I don’t know.  Blood purity speeches, especially made in the pursuit of power, are usually big red flags.

The end of the episode was an incredibly cheesy moment in an otherwise good episode. It was also totally unnecessary. That war is popping off regardless. You don’t need an eyerollingly bad sitcom trope misunderstanding to be the spark. Even if you saw “well, they made amends at dinner with their toast”, not really.

Yes the time jumps have been awful imo.  I almost would have preferred changing the story so the children were still young or better yet, if it began with them all adults.

Well, the marriage arrangements will preserve the Velaryon bloodline, if not the house name. True, Rhaenyra’s kids aren’t Laenor’s, but they’re still half Targaryen, & so still The Blood of Old Valyria. And Luke & Jace’s newly betrothed wives-to-be are Daemon’s kids with the Sea Snake’s daughter Laena, so THEY are

Many people who never intentionally watch TikTok manage to accidentally watch a lot of the  ‘girls dancing in bikinis’ Tiktoks.

Alicent’s rage is justified. She’s been fearing for her children’s lives, and here it is. A son maimed! A preposterous 4-on-1 assault on her sweet little boy! King Viserys needs to wake the fuck up! Bastards have no claim, and pretending they do has simply destabilized The Realm! Alicent, a woman who has done her

I agree that the basic logistics of a series require it but the entire character was based on the fact that she was stuck in a child’s body forever. Being forever a teenager is a much kinder fate and will completely alter Claudia.

There were a lot of problems with those terrible, annoying ads I was forced to watch for an experience I had already purchased and therefore didn’t need to be sold. But, I found it particularly vexing that Nicole Kidman (or is it Keidbaum?) was extolling the virtues of seeing movies together and yet was the only one

Gonna be honest, I have yet to scratch a DVD or lose a disc, and I've definitely sat down to watch multiple movies on Netflix only to find that they've migrated to other services (or paid to rent movies on Amazon only for them to appear on subscription a few weeks later). Streaming is unreliable, in short.

The snarking is just pointing out that there are few people buying physical media. Explaining why people should want physical media isn’t, like, contradicting that sub header.

I can only think of one other thing: Tommy Lee’s talking penis in “Pam and Tommy.” And that thing had quite a few lines.

No one is going to think this represents the “inner life” of a real fetus.

Pluto has a Ramsay Uncensored channel and it’s even better to hear him go off in all it’s unbleeped glory.

I remember feeling something like a sense of relief when I bailed on Arrow and Flash, at the same time. “Welp, there’s a couple hours I’ll get back to burn on something else.”

Damn, dawg. Respect.

It’s an interesting question. I’ve had no trouble giving up shows that no longer appeal. In fact, sometimes I’m provided with an opportunity for self-reflection when I ask why I watched something for as long as I did. And if this answer sounds self indulgent, you did ask.

Daemon’s claim to Runestone was denied by Lady Jeyne Arryn, so he pretty much had to marry again or risk being homeless.

Last week I felt we had the best episode of the series so far. This week I feel we got the worst. The time jump was way too large, especially coming right off the events of last week’s episode. The previous time jumps were small(ish), and while they had some issues, they still built well enough to the climax of the
