Under scrutiny, the seams will show, but all things considered, the threads have held together fairly well. Whether self-contained, or serializing it, MCU’s best narratives try to account for as much as they can. When they don’t, and put something out there in the hopes some other movie will take care of it, is where

Don’t think of it as 'dropped a mountain on herself.' Think of it as ‘being crushed by the weight of it all.’ More poetic.

Multiverse version. It can write them out of any problem.

I’d never even heard that the John Krasinski fancast was a thing, so my response to seeing him was: Cool, Reed Richards! But they got Jim?? Really?? What good fancasts have there been that actually worked out?

I didn’t love Eternals, but I wouldn’t have minded it. Sometimes with things less popular, these kinds of connections can help endear me to them a little more. Like Iron Fist being bad, but it was still kinda neat to see him interact with other Defenders. Or Electro and Lizard, two awful villains coming back for

Are we supposed to doubt Earn? My read on the ending was far less cynical than the review’s. And it is in part, because Earn has become a better manager. Here, Al just went on an oddessy where his pixie dream guide had him doubting everything about who he is and what he’s got, and in the end when he projects those

he collapses in a doorway, a mirror of the guy in the Goofy hat from the earlier scene”-

Funnily nough, I thought this new Saved by the Bell felt like 30 Rock set at Bayside High. While also leaning hard into those "Zack Morris is Trash" YouTube takes, I really couldn't get into what they were doing with this.

AP Bio wasn’t a Peacock original, it started on NBC, and in fact lasted 4 seasons total, but 2 of those seasons were the Peacock add ons, so I guess the 2-year rule still technically applies.

I mean, an entire production was shut down. People lost their jobs. It might be a little important.

It’s laughable how bottom of the barrel they had to go, but it’s also eye-opening, highlighting how few original Latino superheroes there actually are. The most notable names are from already established mantles that were passed down. And that’s to say nothing of the fact we have so few Latino movie stars that fucking

I get the sense Jimmy may have been wanting, perhaps hoping for a different answer from Kim. The way he kept asking if he should do it, was like looking for permission. Kim's tact, however...

I probably wouldn’t put the first Thor in my Top 10 either. But the part where Odin casts him out of Asgard might be in my Top 10 Marvel Scenes. That’s pretty great, and it’s important to remember that if Thor didn’t work, we may have never gotten Guardians of the Galaxy. It was such an important movie for easing the

The hay truck scene... Let’s say I live in a state who’s governor complains about the border, and pulls stunts with truck inspections that literally cost us economically. Lalo’s message, where he told those people “Find another way to get across, carried a different sort of weight for me. Now, I don’t know the show’s

I’m mixed. Post-Endgame, Marvel has been up and down. And I haven’t found the movies as essential as they used to be. It’s more like going through the motions and this even feels like another Thor for the sake of having another Thor. But I like the character and its nice to see him back. And I trust Wititi

I think Ragnarok is the most enjoyable of the Thor movies, but I do like the first one alot for its world-building, (and best version of Loki before he became a joke), and I can understand criticisms of the third, which feels like it takes nothing seriously, and has no consequences.

I LOL ‘ed. This ending and this show deserve each other based on the trajectory

Wow

I agree 100%. Based on how the season was playing out, (and expectations) the finale basically did all it could, all things considered. I got what they went for.

Tough to answer. I can’t in good conscience say yes, when I myself have been frustrated with the material this year. But I find it wrong to turn you away because it’s entirely possible this season may work for you. All I can say is that the show is closer to S3 than it is to 1 or 2.
