Sometimes all the fan speculation seems like it'd make for more interesting characters than what we actually end up with. I loved Martha but I was sort of tickled by the idea fans anticipated from her outfit that she'd end up being a lesbian ninja princess or something. Or how apparently the writers themselves went

The last time the actor appeared on screen however was sort of as a dream ghost (As Crazy Ex Girlfriend catchily put it: https://www.youtube.com/wat… ) so there was a little ambiguity how much it was Clara's mind giving her advice she already knew or whether he was actually magic?

I legitimately like that idea of Felix being a Hendrix by accident. That might scare him away enough from his budding fantastic friendship with Alison, it's not really glorious or anything, and it sort of makes up for Alison's mom being awful enough to have tried secretly replacing her husband's sperm with someone

I'm sort of of two minds here, it seems like having him meet new people would make more sense but make this cast even more stuffed, though it sort of would strain credulity if he's related to most of the characters we already know.

I think some people took offense to the show referring to "the feds" but other times they're not hiding anything at all like referring to Beth's flat.

Well I think part of the issue is people have been complaining preemptively and still they went forward. (Like getting Asian Americans considered for Iron Fist or even a handful of half Asian options for Peter Parker)

Well part of the argument is you would get an Asian-American actor. (Or like Jon Foo, an Asian-English guy pretending to be more of a fish out of water in the Chan role in the Rush Hour adaptation)

With American movies there they generally just have them subtitled with Chinese, do they have Chinese and English subtitles for other foreign movies?

I saw a trailer for Sadako 3D where they implied that the video were on cell phones and those mega screens on the sides of buildings and I imagined that'd rapidly build up to an apocalypse movie with a deadly version of Rick-rolling. Then it seemed like that movie got a sequel that seemed like more of the same as the

He also doesn't understand how to eat at expensive restaurants (which I guess is fair) but I sort of love Lourdes. She's so kind towards Rebecca even if she does have a slightly over-invested dislike of Valencia and hates her sister.

Yeah, I thought in the pilot she was supposed to be at least a passable back up in the camp number? I had interpreted it in my head that dreamghost flashback Becca was Rebecca looking back on herself in hindsight and sort of ridiculing herself for ever having the dream, and that in the character's real life she's

There are only so many single characters on this show. Hector? giant afro guy? It could be a fun dynamic if that bi new employee at the law firm dated Heather since one is so low affect while the other was sort of unrelentingly positive.

I saw a different press release that suggested the two roles were the other way around?

I totally think it's since now he actually knows what his character's end game is, but before they wanted a bit more ambiguity to see what plays well and if they wanted to keep things vague enough they could change their minds. Unfortunately that ended up being sort of a void.

I thought he'd be perfect for Inanna in The Wicked and the Divine but that runs into the same problem of how he's maybe a bit too white. (Also possible a bit too old for the role by the time the TV adaptation is anywhere near filming.)

I think Dylan Bruce did do better than usual but it probably helps now he actually knows what his character motivations are. (If anything it seemed like a little too obviously played that he doesn't care for Beth anymore if he ever did, and it sort of makes him turning unambiguously good for Sarah even more painful.)

I'm a huge Bryan Fuller fanboy nerd but, despite hearing it a lot, I only ever really felt the parallels in the sunny coffee house episode.

My guess would have been that he's become a much bigger name and would be too busy to get to Canada for whatever period of time, even just as a cameo? Admittedly they did get Kristen Bell but has a longer kinship to Rob Thomas and she could have literally phoned in her contribution.

To be honest I'm kind of curious what it's like to hear from that family after so long presumably cutting contact from everyone in Liv's circle.

The CW is so on the ball they even list music tracks that it seems like there's no way for audience members to obtain them legally. (Like even score snippets so long as they have a title it would appear from the Crazy Ex Girlfriend page).
