Thank you for your work as a nurse and as an advocate. One of the best parts of living in Australia is that our unions still have enough power to change things. I know it’s far from perfect, but I am grateful every day for the socialised healthcare system we have here and for the many amazing and dedicated people who

I’m hoping this is also open to overseas nurses... As i’ve said before, I’m an Australian registered nurse so my experiences are similar in a lot of ways but also vastly different. We have a very different industrial relations system, a very different healthcare system and we also have different nursing education.

I just want everyone to get the fuck off my lawn you are killing my hydrangeas. This is California water does not grow on trees.

What’s better than Tom Hardy, you ask? TOM HARDY AND A DOG.

“We once had an uncle who was a literal Nazi but this baby between consenting adults is the worst disgrace this family has ever seen.”- The Queen, probably.

And being healthy really doenst have much to do with it I don’t think because both of his brothers are not pictures of health. My grandfather died at...42? 43? Of liver cancer that ended up spreading. He probably would have been alive today but the medical technology wasn’t there at the time.

Just turned 45. Is my advanced degree going to save me?!?

She started out as an interesting character, growing and recovering after her abusive relationship with Paul, and then they lobotomized her. And ugh, the baby voice. Rita, you are a woman in your 30s, you do not need to speak to everyone the way you’d talk to a two-year-old. I could understand the control issues, but

Someone who shares my Rita hatred?Awesome! It was her baby voice and weird control issues, right? Please tell me I’m right and not that I’m the only one who would mock her by saying things like “Dexter I just don’t think I can trust you to walk to the bathroom by yourself anymore.” in a breathy baby voice...

Tangent: And once a book, movie or television show has been out for six months, I have no responsibility to protect you from ding-dang spoilers. You clearly don’t care that much if that much time has passed.

Leaving a room when people start talking about something you don’t want to hear seems like a more adult response than telling other people to shut up about spoilers. And I imagine it’s a preferred solution on the creator side of things to hearing the spoiler and deciding it’s one of those ones that defeats the point

There are two things I don’t like about myself. One, I’m very shy in person. Two, I worry... a lot... about stupid stuff. Both of these things make travelling somewhere by myself very nerve wracking. I recently flew out to San Francisco on business. I have wanted to visit China Town forever. It took me two hours of

Perfect score. Would read again.

<Grin> Thanks. I had some fun with this one.

100/100 was all set to blast. You are amazing.

Let’s be fair here. I studied archaeology in school and have worked on several digs, so I am coming from a place of some knowledge. And I’m afraid that I have to agree that having an all-female team *had* to have been a publicity stunt of some sort, and does in fact lead to some questions about the validity of their

I suggest he volunteers for a new space program I’ve just now decided to fund, where we tie him to a rocket, and then send it to the fucking sun.

Yep, it’s called taxis, uber or friend. You just pulled Pinkham’s law. Congrats.
