At the risk of sounding like an oldie, I wonder if the internet has something to do with it. We can test our rants anonymously to so many more people than we can in our daily lives. We write our rants down, thus giving us more time to craft them, and feel more confident in them (whether they’re sound arguments or

“They have no idea what human embryo development looks like.”

My devil’s advocate to yours is that the situations are different. Abortion comes down to a basic personal ideological position about what constitutes a life - most of the polled people on the abortion debate have all the facts to reach their personal position. I’d argue that in this fucked up media and political

Not only is everyone ok with the North being free, but they make a Northmen their king - basically they let the Northmen walk all over them.

Hey...I just wanted to say that you perfectly encapsulated what I feel was “bad” about this season in particular.

I have no problem with main characters surviving, it’s how they survived that’s the issue. So I don’t think the writers are cowards, I just think they failed for this episode.

On one hand I have so many similar questions. On the other hand, we’re talking about a fantasy series with dragons who sometimes seems really powerful and other times feel absent and impotent.

Agreed, but I’d just like to say it’s how you use them that can fall flat, and while I do think more people need to learn how to critique tropes better, the cliches that annoy people are real, even if they come across as ham-fisted themselves when trying to articulate why something has annoyed them so much.

Seems like this is a love it or hate it thing - I can listen to why people loved this episode and accept their opinions and tastes, but this was so disappointing and boring to me (apart from Arya), especially so now I read that it’s the same director who gave me previous battles that did’t annoy me at all as much.

Seems pretty clear that he’s saying it’s not a good sum of parts because of boredom of those tropes. If you like those tropes then you’ll probably like it.

Oh I get my moment - twice in fact. Once when I think what happened happened, and again when VAR tells me what actually happened.

Dude, I’m simply debating the promise....and the promise works on so many levels as music streaming has shown.

lolwut? Stop projecting your stuff on me. Some people have multiple hobbies and when choosing what and how to game, have to make a choice out of console OR PC. You can’t do the same things on both, as I’m sure you know.

Speak for yourself.

Ah yes, “the rules”. Those immovable concepts that have been in place since the Big Bang.

A mega city isn’t a person. It’s a bunch of humans living in a democracy - and each of those humans should have each of their votes counted.

I get that, but I feel when people attach Trump to something, it’s such an easy way of abdicating responsibility from what are actual norms - in this case traditional, long standing, consistemt and effective interference with other country’s sovereignties while moralising as beacon of law. I’m one of the people who

It’s not even about just Trump. This is just continuation of the usual policy towards Latin America, no matter which administration is in charge.

Is Deadmau5 being rounded up and incinerated? No he’s not.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realise “fucktard” was actually a real grouping of people.
