Agree quite strongly with most of this. What compounds these annoyances is that there's enough of a great game underneath all this that I'm still compelled to play it!!!

I agree with you only in relation to the reviews of the campaigns, which I think are grossly inconsistent....they're ALL generic, scripted, buggy and shite, so yeah it does annoy me when one get's called out over another.

It's one thing to have a response. It's how AndrosZ reacted to his response that people are responding to. Most people would realize their jarring response is nothing more than the hard-wiring you describe and move on - not having to hint that perhaps it shouldn't be on the front page.
