I both agree and disagree with your sentiment.

MOH was the best as far as feeling like you were in a real war and not a movie, but things like driving ATVs right up to the compound you then sneak around with a silencer killing enemies that were too deaf to hear your stealth ATV, too many doors that don't open until you've killed x number of guys, and the god

Awesome news. There's about 5% of Skyrim that turns me off it, so some great mods might make me buy the game.

We do.

Are sure you aren't confusing a person of Asian origin as being refereed to as "an oriental", with the term "the orient"?

The thing is I don't know if I'm looking back with rose-tinted glasses, but I don't feel BFBC2 was like this. I thought in that game more of the strangers online worked (on average) as more of a squad, if not as a team.

I'm kind of disappointed in the attitude of most of the gamers I come across. I've been playing since release and I can only remember 2 times coming across players that wanted to stick with the squad. There's something I can't put my finger on that means it's easier than BFBC2 for players to not use team work.....

"It can be aggravating when it does not work, but very rewarding when it does."

I'd prefer they try and penalize players for shooting a robot just like players who team kill get negative points then kicked after too many.

It's all relative to the title in question. the poll is too simplistic...

What is boosting?

Oh but then if I go to the SWAT franchise, I can't come on Kotaku and bitch about R6 totally rejecting it's roots and being dumbed down for the console crowd. ;P

See above.....I liked the small scale nature of the "swat scenarios".

Yes I have played those games.

I really don't get it. There are still many games getting made that involve a lot of brain power by the player, but just not in the shooter genre.....

I doubt it. Have you seen the video on Game Informer? No way this is a tactical shooter or anyway near it. It's just going to be a bunch of cliched characters in a plot with shallow treatment of complicated themes, all delivered in shooting gallery cinematic experience gameplay.

Yeah driving didn't bother me, but if I was to be given the option of a more realistic driving model I would take it. It is very floaty, but I suspect that it's a bit 'cartoony' because so much AI driving is integral to the game.....and making it perfectly like a simulator would either make it too hard, or perhaps too

Did many really loath it? I think there was a backlash from people who either didn't get it or couldn't ignore it's flaws, and lots of people seemed to want to let the world know it wasn't "all that", but I reckon you're very much not alone in appreciating it.....

Yeah, I just was pointing out what meatbag said out to you, but it seems like you've thought about it even more that I have.
