To me it read more like an excited sharing of an experience. It's more "OMG, you've GOT to try this!" than "The way I'm doing this is so much better than the way you're doing this."

Thank you for saying this....can't believe Kotaku allowed an insecure teen to write an article.
I feel the exact same way as you do. I don't care about PC exclusive or no multiplayer, but I sure as hell am not interested in Aliens or mutants or basically enemies that seem to defy the laws of physics and hop around like giant bugs with no weight.....
I tried MW back when it first came out and couldn't keep up online. I recommend Battlefield games because the big maps and bullet drop allow you to catch your breath and pace yourself until you get good enough to charge around. I played BLOPS after cutting my teeth in BFBC2, and while I never liked it enough to buy, I…
To be fair to Hope Solo, I read an article about her congratulating the Japanese team and the article was accompanied by a picture of her smiling and chatting to a Japanese player near the changing rooms, so she must have sought them out well after they had left the field and given them her best wishes....
You're an extremist, as well as very narrow minded. Did you seriously just refer to yourself as a "real gamer"? What? As opposed to all the fake gamers out there that spend money on consoles, PCs and games to just fit in? What you talking about?
Buck Shelford was his name.
While I don't have a problem with really good pilots, I find it annoying that as a grunt I have to find more ammo, but Top Gun in the sky can swan around with his unlimited missiles and rockets.
Yes, the person makes it.
It's not even about ignorance of wannabe critics, it's about the democracy of the internet era speaking the truth of personal tastes and perspective.
Ok, so I'm still very interested in this game, but-
I'm not militarty buff, but perhaps you are talking about what appeared to be some sort of attachment rail that we normally see on western guns in games....
You make perfect sense. Personally knowing that the workers were hard done by won't spoil a game for me- unless whips and child slaves were involved- but you're perfectly reasonable to feel the way you do.
Wait, so on a show where his guest was Bill Kristol, THIS is what you pull Stewart up for? I mean I know this is a gaming blog, but surely legitimising a war-mongering chicken hawk puts into perspective your outrage about what he may or may not have implied about gaming.
Depends what you expect from graphics. Personally I find BI games have had a real realistic look to their textures and lighting. That doesn't mean I think BF3 graphics aren't the most awesome stylized movie style graphics out there, but comparing the 2 is apples and oranges to me...
I agree, and at the very least, if the slave driver at the helm of the next Citizen Kane is a creative genius, it doesn's mean we can't call him a c**t for expecting people to waste themselves working for his genius project, whether or not legally and technically he has the right to be a c**t.
In my experience people who moan about being kept in 10 minutes longer than clocking off time are usually paid a relatively lower wage and/or don't last long in a job if they are whiners.
Doing anything for 12 to 16 hours non-stop is physically exhausting. My body would take a battering if I slept for that long.
Well OK then, ignore my "disclaimer" :)
I wonder what the pay difference is between McNamara and any other pleb who had to work ridiculous hours.
