I understand where you're coming from, but a properly sized and fitted paper mask style respirator is effective. A mask with replaceable filters can have a poor fit and be worthless. PPE has to be the right size for it to do its job.

Agree with you on all points except for demo, and my lack of agreement comes with a caveat. I did worked doing demo and remodeling, which involved lots of cutting stuff up with a cordless reciprocating saw. Working for a company gave me an advantage that the average DIYer won't have, extra batteries (more than just…

They're in the process of rolling out more 700mhz spectrum which will really improve their indoor service. Also they now fully support wifi calling/texting which helps in a lot of indoor situations (but not all)
No contracts @ T-Mobile so I wouldn't think so.
Pretty much, you can make a saw board out of any straight edge and 2 or more clamps. The distance from the blade to the edge of your saw's guide is a fixed, known distance. Take that into account when placing & clamping your straight edge relative to the line you want to cut and you're good to go.
I have 2 of the old style and 2 of the new style. Gave my wife the new ones for X-Mas so no long term results to report on, but with the old ones, we wash them once a week and haven't had any issues. The new ones have a larger opening which makes getting soap in there easier, and they disassemble easier as well. We…

You should have no problem with it as long as you empty it. If it is tucked into your carry on they might make you take it out to 'prove' that is is actually empty.

This cap is the reason I'm voting for these. The rest of the bottles (of which I have 3 of the remaining 4) are essentially the same: a container with a screw on lid. This cap is the first real innovation I've seen in water bottles in a long time. It makes it easy to drink on the go, and genuinely doesn't leak. I…

I believe they've fixed this with the newer versions. The silicone cap/nozzle removes for cleaning. Also they made the opening hole bigger so it is easier to clean as well.

I won two of these and fell in love with them. Just bought 2 more for my wife so we can each have 2 while cycling. They seem silly at first ("What's there to improve on a regular water bottle?"), but trying one makes you realize all the compromises you've lived with using other water bottles. The lockout function…

Not strictly a financial move, but don't forget to evaluate you and your spouse's options for open enrollment (seems like vast majority are in November). My wife and I are making some changes which will end up saving us ~$100 per month and result in better coverage for the both of us.
Contigo Autoseal, hands down.
Lots of people at the office I used to work (engineering/construction firm) at had these. A coworker got me one for Christmas and I officially became a member of the cult for these things.
They're indestructible, mine has survived lots of drops and knocks from roof of a car onto gravel. …

I'm guessing most of the VW's sold in Europe come from Germany. The US ones built in Germany tend to be fine, but the ones built in Mexico are the worst. (source: between my family and a VW friend have owned 12 VW's)
Exactly, they've just given up and learned to bend over while grinning!
