The Inhumans are just the worst. This clunky writing isn't helping them at all either.

Dorn, and especially the sand snakes, are just overwhelmingly boring.
Ha, fair enough.
Well no, tng was better all around, but i agree that the differences aren't as stark as is thought by some people. They definitely are there though.
That 16 year old son of a comedian sounds totally insufferable
Yes of course Kirk consulted with his crew. But you have to admit that tng focused on that to a much larger degree. You name specific episodes where that was important in the original show, whereas the conference room scenes were an important part of virtually every episode of tng. i'm not saying kirk ignored his…
Not me. My mother loved those kinds of novelty songs so i grew up with one of the 50's versions. Also: Henry the 8th i am.
Well as you say you've only seen a tiny minority of TNG but rest assured, Picard does an awful lot of diplomatizing during the show's run. He's also notable for being much more consensus driven than Kirk was. TNG spends a huge amount lot of time in the conference room with the crew debating options.
I choose ti ignore awful retcons that undermine great stories. Jean was Phoenix and died on the moon.
The first one wasn't even very good. Who asked for this?
It will only get better once he abandons that horrible roundtable segment. Why do comedy shows keep doing this? I want jokes, not stilted arguments between ill informed comedians.
Only if they bring back ben stone.
That's actually the most realistic aspect of Star wars. It's actually really hard to hit moving targets that are firing back at you. Especially with everyone using single shot weapons.
Wasn't Nation's Pride itself based on Sergeant York?
If they do revisit the show, I hope they'll tone down the alien/conspiracy focus. Those were always the weakest episodes. It was a great monster of the week horror anthology show that Used recurring point of view characters but it wanted to be a serialized drama and it just didn't work. I know i'm in the minority here…
Howard Zinn is not a historian. damon was foolish to insult Howe, an actual good historian, in order to lionize Zinn, an activist, in that scene.
Look up Ricky Ray Rector. He was a murderer who later shot himself in the head, giving himself severe brain damage. His faculties were so impaired that he saved the pie from his last meal before execution "for later." Bill Clinton flew home to oversee his execution to show he was tough on crime, and was praised for it…
Whishaw was spectacularly good as Richard II in the Hollow crown series from a couple years ago.
Asimov had some interesting ideas but he was a terrible prose stylist and novelist in general. He should have just written essays or at least gotten a cowriter who could do fiction writing competently.
It lost me at self aware parody. Haven't there been enough of those recently?
