I remember being impressed by an early episode that was pretty unambiguously anti-torture. That might not sound like much but given the era and genre of show, I appreciated it.

Really? The Marley and Marley song is fantastic.

Very much agree about Tomalak. It was nice to see him return for the series finale though.

Well i'd advise against it mainly because Claremont and Lee didn't work together for very long, so the majority of the issues they included in the two volumes take place before Lee joined the book or after Claremont left. They chose a very strange place to start, picking up at the tail end of the Australian Outback

The Claremont/Lee Omnibus is still a part of Claremont's original run. I wouldn't recommend it it you haven't read through his earlier stuff yet though. There's another Claremont/Byrne Omnibus coming out in a few months, I'd get that first, then move on to the Second Cockrum/Paul Smith/ early Romita jr stuff via the

Ghostbusters 2 is a much better movie than Back to the Future 2. Venkman's talk show alone proves this. Not to mention Rick Moranis as trial lawyer.

Both Parallels and the Pegasus aired in 1993 and were much better than the DS9 episode that made the cut, not to mention a lot of the other choices on here.

It wouldn't be permanent of course. But why would you redo this story without replicating it's most famous scene?

You're thinking of the 90's cartoon version which replaced the Kitty Pryde role with Bishop. Since they're using him in this movie anyway, I would have preferred they stick with that and kept Wolverine in the future. I'm worried we won't be getting vaporized Wolverine in this.

These are mostly terrible. TCM has been showing some great horror movies this month, with the Haunting, Isle of he Dead and Dead of Night being some of the best. I'd also recommend Dr. Terror's House of Horrors and Black Sabbath.

The last scene of the Haunting, with the wife running by the out of control car as it's about to crash into the tree. Very quick, very effective.

I guess I'll use this chance to complain about Drood, as I read it a few weeks ago.

I like non sequitur flashbacks. Why must everything be in service to the plot? Why not throw in random scenes as long as they're fun? People get way too caught up in trying to police how stories should be told.

No I agree season 1 was great. Tate was a fantastic villain but doesn't seem to get much love around here.

He was fantastic as Tate. What are you talking about?

I got a rocking body and a titty full of milk.

I'd say Lange is playing more of a Magneto to Paulson's Xavier than Voldemort. Their disagreement seems more about how to defend witches than just Lange being a pure villain, besides the whole search for youth thing.

I liked him in Everybody Hates Chris. I could see him doing a pretty good Juggernaut or Apocalypse. Not sure he could carry a movie as the lead unless it's more of an action/comedy.

Stewart too old to play leading Shakespearean roles? His Macbeth from a couple years ago disagrees.

It's an important scene because Henry has no real claim to the throne. He starts an unjustifiable war for selfish reasons. To top that off, at the end of the play, Shakespeare notes that the English will soon lose everything they have gained from his victories.
