I remember when people liked Joss Whedon’s work. I know that people have problems with him personally, but how did that translate into this presumption that he is incompetent and doesn’t know what he’s doing? Is Buffy not a good show anymore? Am I not supposed to enjoy an Angel rerun?

I was so far behind on this show until I found a fan edit that improves the pacing. I like One Piece but the episodes DRAG with barely any forward momentum per episode. Damn near 1000 episodes and running is a daunting task. They should focus on this for re-releases if they want to attract new viewers.
