I think there’s a much higher chance of someone that negligent just dying in a stupid car wreck, rather than “seeing the light.”

Soul EV’s pop up around here every now and then, and I’m tempted to go for it.  “Electric Soul” is just about the funkiest car name evah.

No, you’re thinking of Specialized.

Your map is wrong.  Circle is geographically and culturally a part of West Dakota, not Montana.

It’s crumbs being dropped to you so you remember which way is up.

It’s trickle-down economics in the form of a golden shower.

As someone who rides a bike after dark in Montana on a regular basis, I would say they are legislating common sense here. Bikes are traffic; you can’t legally drive around in traffic after dark without lights.

You can pick up accessories at the nation’s largest Jeep dealer about halfway across the panhandle.

It’s the interstate across the panhandle.  Two low-ish mountain passes.  You’ll go from MT to WA in about an hour.  No special gear necessary.

There was one in Kent, WA. Any time I took a trip to Seattle, I’d load up on sheet aluminum, used tooling, aircraft seat upholstery cloth, all kinds of great stuff. Some time around 2000 they switched to selling stuff on eBay and cl0sed the location to the public.

I read the Politico piece, and I know it tried to answer this question, but, what is wrong with her?

The notion of owning scrap airliner parts left me with a wave of nostalgia for Boeing Surplus.  Sigh.

Brazing is a great skill to have a handle on during these pre-apocalyptic times.

Note that Utah has a part-time legislature, and that this guy’s compensation is $273 per day for the seven weeks they are in session each year. This is a side gig for him, which may be the source of his apathy.

My first thought on reading that was, hey, why wouldn’t a car-dependent conurbation have a couple deaths a day?  But I see that LA has less than half as many deaths with almost twice as many people.  This is a cultural issue.

No reverse = meh.

This is the best one yet.  I’m assuming you’re saving the Ohio Players for a big finish.

I’m not sure about the rest of the argument, but point G kinda sticks in my craw.  Saying they used his photos as a guide for 3D scanning would be like saying I plagiarized every book ever published because my work has margins and line spacing.  Can you copyright standing upright?  If so, I should copyright the

I have only seen one person successfully complete that challenge: DJ Hurricane.

If she’s using her motherhood status to snag sponsors, she’s tangentially trafficking in humans.

That’s an interesting link. One note, though. The placenta company investment opportunity listed in the article was, in hindsight, legit. That initial $10k they were asking for is worth over $600k less than a decade later.
