Very true.  Similar thing happened to law school classmates of mine.  Took the NY Bar Exam in Buffalo and had their flights to NJ cancelled.  So they drove overnight to Atlantic City for the NJ bar exam.  Nightmare.

Just going to through it out there, from experience, if you’re going to be travelling to/from an area that endures seasonal weather, look into trip insurance. i.e. If you’re flying to/from Boston in February - trip insurance is a good idea in case you get bonered by a blizzard.
