Guy in High school had one snap and caught the pintle in the face, did not die. Saw one snap at Brainerd and it looked just like a rubber band going over the top of the truck. Same Scenario guy had a hard run and the shock load snapped it. 

Why wouldn’t it be straight? The amount of grip you can get with four offroad tires on cold pavement is orders of magnitude less than what it would take to bend a frame.

Also if you buy a car as an investment you have to hardly drive it at all. Which means you have to keep it stored indoors in a climate controlled garage.
