As a felloww human concerned about climate change, I can tell you one thing. Telling a Minnesotan that hurting the environment will make the winters warmer is NOT a good way to save the world.

Ferrari said they’d never do it too.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask to not be either.

“What if someone is worried about regulatory consistency and predictability”

Seems like an awesome option. If the race was going to be red flagged anyway, it creates the perfect opportunity to slap some of these bad boys on.

Agreed, he’s killing it.

So they’re mad it did exactly what it was meant to do. Got it.

As a matter of fact I do not!

Blind squirrels and all that...

This guy gets it.

Oh, come on. No Automation?

And I’m not even saying people should do that. The new C63 is awesome. It just could have been “better.

I honestly have no idea what specifically set off my Spidey senses, but my gut just said “BMW.”

Hey, at least they just made a video game and didn’t do anything too crazy like start an airline company......

Yeah, that’s fair. Guess only time will tell whether it works out or not (assuming it even happens, RB has already torpedoed one automotive tie-in in the last 12 months).

No, it didn’t. Turns out you can’t sell garbage and expect an F1 tie-in to help sales.

I mean, there are TONS of brands that have nothing to actually do with automotive parts or brands that have decided just having their name on a car is a good investment (All the cigarette brands in the 70s/80s/90s for example), so at a certain investment level it has to be worth it right?

Red Bull does have a history of this though with the Infiniti tie in. Might as well take the money if it’s being offered.

I agree on all points but the “no one wants to live with one day in and day out” part. I think if you polled actual C63 buyers, most would want the V8 given everything else being equal. Just a guess though.

From a purely logical and objective standpoint, I get it. I do. I’m not mad about losing the V8, or about the weight, or the hybrid system, and I understand the thing is an absolute monster from the reviews I’ve seen. It’s the future, and we all need to be ok with change.
