Well if we're rating it on laughs, yeah, no I don't think this episode would score highly. But it was quite the one-two emotional punch. I was impressed the show was able to do that, but not in an overly dramatic way or by taking itself too seriously. Chris Messina killed his scene and the way they gave us Mindy…

This is the perfect Mindy Project episode in my opinion. Playing up the Mindy-Danny UST while also mining the gold that comes from the two of them butting heads in some way. Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina were both on FIRE tonight, in their solo scenes but especially when together.
