True. Or like Sim City Online or whatever.
True. Or like Sim City Online or whatever.
It worked like this; I restarted the game, logged on, and played it. Fuckface.
Dat sense of entitlement. Why does a Lamborghini Aventador cost so much? It shouldn't, really. Fuck it I guess lets go steal one.
Who said anything about Facebook? You have a very narrow view of potential online capabilities in a game if that's all you think game designers can come up with.
If developers want their games to be more immersive, connected, and have new gameplay functionality, then you have to deal with necessary design issues and implications, in this case having an always online connection.
Just fucking deal with it already because this is how its going to be with all publishers. Your game is already tied to the Origin launcher anyway so if there is a server disconnection, you cant even launch the game anyway. Complaining about the inner workings of the game being tied to server functionality is moot.
I adore Swype; I have swiftkey as well but I always go back to Swype.
Thanks, us developers who read Kotaku really appreciate comments like these.
Nothing wrong with games.
Of course not, the only logical course of action is to stop playing the game forever.
Comparing the visuals of these two franchises is like someone comparing Skyrim PC to Witcher 2 PC; i.e. utterly pointless. I guess Skyrim is a shit game because it doesn't look as good. It's also a shit PC port because... yeah what....? Your argument makes no sense to most people, and that's fine.
Gabe, Gabe, Gaben, Gabe, just build hardware streaming optimized for gaming over wifi that hooks up to the TV and uses our existing PCs. And have that hardware recognize the controller as a mouse input for all desktop navigation.
You really think the only things that need to be loaded in memory are visual, and that's the only difference between a corridor game and an open world? You'd get fired day one as an artist on an open world game; or at least sent to work on WiiU or mobile games. I'm not sure Ubi will ever release the memory budget they…
Crysis 1 was not open, it just had a big first map and turned into call of duty for the rest. Still a sectioned off game with loaded maps.
Crysis has never been open world. Fucks sake you kids, just about as dumb as comparing the visual fidelity of Skyrim vs Halo 4.
I'm a developer. Other than that I can't say much I'm sorry but I am being completely honest. There's nothing I want more than more PC centric games, but yeah, that's the reality unfortunately.
You'd be surprised how rampant piracy is. I am a developer and have been a PC gamer since the 80s. The numbers are far worse than you can imagine piracy wise, and PC projects break even or make a profit only because they are cheap ports. Right now there is 0 incentive for big publishers to lead on PC.
You guessed wrong.
Pretty ugly, the accent on the bow especially. The roofing doesn't match the bevel on the side of the ship; makes it looks like you have a sleek ship with industrial housing on top.
Still, mods.
