Coming from a RHD country, where these things were common (Were, they are nearly all dead now) I would avoid this this like a Leperous hooker with bubonic plague.
These things (like all Mitsi’s of the era) were horribly unreliable, and when they were running, usually chucked out enough black soot to make a VW diesel…

Being a race car weight distribution is critical. The driver is place as low as possible. Meaning there is a huge glass areas for sun glare to cause issues. A race driver only needs to see pretty much straight out, not up.
