Not sure you would call it the coolest...But a 1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe Sedan with Suicide doors. In proper trim (i.e. black with running boards) its a totally badass mobster car. Someone can post a pic for me. I regularly see them in running condition for about 5K on ebay alone.
