For critical projects people are a resource that isn’t always interchangeable. It sounds like you’ve never had a job where you are in a limited commodity or in extreme pressure to deliver, or have a lot of experience project managing.

It really doesn’t, in order to avoid it you need to remove all innovation and variables from a project. The only way to avoid it is to not deliver, that isn’t always an option, you aren’t exactly going to say to your surgeon fixing a heart or a civil engineer repairing a dam that they have to knock off after 8 hours.

Well they have delayed the game several times, the only other option is adding more people, or reducing scope which they likely will have done to some degree.

Thing is project delivery means at some point you need to meet realities, that’s a fact of life. It wasn’t smart for them to say they wouldn’t have any crunch at all. That being said they did legitamately take all the right steps, and to be honest while it might not have impacted sales total, I think it would have

To be fair property taxes on non commercial property are an entirely perverse concept and I have no idea why they exist in the US when they are not particularly common. They generally seem a great way to screw people and enforce a class system, even the UK treats your home like your castle and can’t tax it.

He was Jarvis from the start and was in most of them when RDJ was in them. There is some logic in that, but he played two distinct characters.

Dunno, money is all of it being in Wandas head, or that she is forcing a whole town to participate and creating a projection or reanimating vision in some way. Her powers are fairly vaguely defined between straight up super powers and actual magic.

Sure, but they will keep selling founders editions at that price and keep supply up in all liklihood. And unlike most years the FE is actually fairly compelling.

There will be pretty much normal supply in a month, it’s hardly the be all and end all as anyone that needs a 3080 doesn’t really NEED one, they just want one.

Well as long as the apps are stable DeX on Samsung would do that no bother, and performance wise there is no lack of power for that. I’ve managed similar levels of multitasking with my note 8 and my tab s6. If you can find someone that has an s6 or s7 ask them to let you have a go with it in DeX.

Well the latest versions of DeX and the new processors in these are enough for your productivity tasks you describe. And it has a good selection of games on android and there are now two or three decent game streaming services that support android.

That isn’t really my experience or understanding. Any task that can make use of hardware acceleration will generally utilise less power than one performed with software acceleration. Intel chips generally don’t support the same levels of hardware acceleration so even there iGPUs can’t do that.

Only in use, and you get more, it isn’t like integrated is better for the same output or power consumption at all. They will only put out more heat and consume more power if you put them to use. Generally you will often find on day to day tasks they are more efficient as they require fewer resources to drive your day

I was an early adopter to vr wireless isn’t neccesary, its a nice to have not a must have for room scale, I’ve literally never tripped over a cable after the first day I used vr. If it was there would be wireless adapters for all the significant headsets.

Thing is though you aren’t really paying premiums for dedicated graphics, there are loads of relatively cheap laptops now with a dedicated GPU that still works a lot better.

As good? There are several that are better, the Index is better than quest 2 and the new HP is as good as that with the resolution on top. There are a bunch of others.

What do you mean, there are other outside in headsets that all work just fine? The only difference with oculus is that it has built in compute, you can hook a laptop or tablet powerful enough to an WMR headset and it does the same thing better.

Thats the niche of the niche as I said, and they aren’t even properly hybrid as it streams in rather than direct connects which functionality wise isnt really true hybridity existing wireless solutions. Its certainly not as most of the reviews say an ideal experience for pc based and more premium content.

No competition? Do you mean mobile VR specifically, because there are dozens of other headsets now in the market and several competitors to this in the current generation. Mobile specifically is a bit of a niche of a niche and realistically only around because Facebook is eating a huge amount of the costs.

To be fair the UK doesn’t have those accidents either, and it has older railroads than the US and uses them for freight, particularly for car transporting.
