Former Geologist. The video is pretty bad for judging scale, but eyeballing I would say that is at least a meter cubed if not a bit more.

Given this came with the release date announcement and is about it being free on that day, would it not be good to mention what day that actually is?
To be fair, and the reason they’ve never changed it, it is an accurate representation of how autopilot works in other applications. I know I’m a little unusual in that I did train to be a pilot, but even before that I knew that aircraft didn’t fly themselves.
This isn’t restricting supply or price fixing, that isn’t what scalping is. If a company did it is profiteering, which is totally different.
If you want good quality tools you can always replace your cheapo ones with nice ones direct from the manufacturer of whatever the best of those tools are. I love cheap tools, they are great because you don’t waste a lot of money on tools you don’t need and sometimes you are surprised because quality often does matter…
To be fair, that isn’t butter, it is just more palatable margarine.
Real gamers? Unless you are a child or unemployed most people don’t have unlimited time to play games, any single platform is more than enough to fill the average humans time. Some people might have two, but a lot of people will only have one, especially if they do mobile gaming on a phone or tablet rather than…
I’m guessing it’s some fairly bespoke version of StoreMI paired with a suitable low latency SSD that’s more latency than throughput biased.
The SSD tech isn’t that different from Optane, but it HAD to improve simply because the amount of volatile memory on the system is lower. If you have 32Gb of system ram and then likely somewhere between 16 and 32gb on GPU having a super fast SSD is little redundant.
You can’t really do that, you can make a non VR game VR, but unless you design it that way from the outset it would be incredibly difficult to implement properly.
Red Faction and Painkiller are definitely sweet deals, the best of the Franchises IMO.
I’ve had a lot of fun with some pretty bad VR games, especially early on!
Given how fast Quests are flying off the shelf there is probably a double whammy of Alyx and lockdown. There is likely going to be slow growth as Quest users migrate over to the PC and eventually get them set up for Steam using the link cable.
I would kind of disagree, with the economy in the tank the way out is spending. The only real way to ensure a recession is a mass move to saving cash.
Flipside is with all the time at home you can ditch the convenience and go back to doing things that were normal before premade foods and sauces were common.
Millenials now make up the bulk of the professional workforce, including all your medical professionals, police, military, government officials etc. would think that would be enough reason to keep them healthy. Also why they are going to get sick more than other groups.
You should read some history and understand the British constitution before you should comment. You attack my grammar, but are clearly pretty poorly educated on the issue.
Fairly sure Parliament was still a thing in the 1770s and the Monarchy while influential at the time was severely limited.
By that logic all money in any company is tax payer money since it is earned from the taxpayer.
Tyre warranties are pretty meaningless, they aren’t enforceable except under very low mileage scenarios or clear defect. They don’t cover normal wear or accidental damage and I’ve never had a tyre actually last through normal usage past 35k after actually inspecting it. I could totally have still driven on them and…
