Honestly I’m not sure I agree, I didn’t like any of the examples you stated and I don’t think I’m in a particular minority.

I didn’t mind the finale, but from the escape from New Caprica things just stopped following any kind of logic. The whole pretext of the escape with basically the moral crux for the Adamas of not spending the Pegasus, the last best hope for surviving the cylons, just to rescue people that can’t be saved and will be…
The warranty was pretty good, especially as it was free with my bank account. Unfortunately it no longer has quite so many benefits as it did, including the pretty mad extended warranty that didn’t bother to do any discounting! There are a few things that it probably does pay to use it for, with a bit of experience…
Most modern electronics have that issue, depends on the standards you are after. Apple does a bit better because it usually sets a bit of a lower bar, where as on android you end up constantly chasing running apps that need more and more resources.
I think we do, Eccleston not that long ago spoke about his mental health struggles at that point in his life that were a bit part of that.
This isn’t restricting supply or price fixing, that isn’t what scalping is. If a company did it is profiteering, which is totally different.
If you read my statement I said “anything within its reach” aircraft and artillery are out of reach. Modern tanks i.e. latest batch upgrade versions are pretty much resistant against anything current and potential aggressors have in regards to what your average crunchy will have, and its a lot harder to nail the…
Well I didn’t get into the modern upgrade and replacement programs for the likes of Leopard, Challenger and Abrams, but I think the details are ok for a few paragraphs.
Mobility has become more prominent, however only peer level missile systems can penetrate armor and even the crew survivability is still very high. Even our own current generation anti tank infantry munitions would struggle with a current gen MBT and of course you have to get it into the fight and use it. Active…
This is standard practice across the world at the moment. Every country has been making exemptions to allow workers that are either essential to normal operation of the country or significant economic value(basically the same thing).
It isn’t at all true that tanks are being phased out. There is a general trend to reduce the numbers of tanks, largely because a modern tank just like a modern aircraft are far more capable(and expensive).
To be fair it is good business ethics, which you would wish all companies would subscribe to. Notionally if you get some formal education about business they do even teach you about it, just most ignore it in favour of the bottom line.
Chains, will go, and to be honest I’m not sure that is totally a bad thing. Boutique cinemas that can do more to monetise I think will do a lot better and take over the market. That will mean fewer cinemas, but better cinemas.
If you want good quality tools you can always replace your cheapo ones with nice ones direct from the manufacturer of whatever the best of those tools are. I love cheap tools, they are great because you don’t waste a lot of money on tools you don’t need and sometimes you are surprised because quality often does matter…
To be fair, that isn’t butter, it is just more palatable margarine.
Property rights when it was founded vs those today are utterly different. Property rights were vs the English law system of the time, that doesn’t even exist in England. It’s about protecting your property i.e. your land, not property as in killing another human for a flat screen TV.
To be fair there is still a demand and a requirement for it, and there aren’t many jobs of that quality around unless refinery jobs are massively underpaid in that area.
What would be less self centred than prioritising life and liberty over what it is essentially consumerism. The conditions that existed when Benjamin Franklin lived aren’t existent now.
Guidance WHO sent me says they’re only suitable for scenarios where it is not possible to self isolate and are a last resort, it then follows with a significant amount of “you shouldn’t really do this” disclaimers.
Are the WHO thick? They don’t recommend masks for good reasons, without training and appropriate guidance on using them then they are a disease vector themselves and normalise not doing more effective measures.
