I liked REC 2 in that it shifted the horror from zombie to supernatural/demonic possession, while still keeping things crazy and intense. I still need to see #3, but I'm looking forward to it, considering how much I enjoyed the first two.

Horatio Sanz and Jimmy Fallon's "I Wish It Was Christmas Today" from Saturday Night Live. That's been a highlight of most every Christmastime SNL for my wife and me for the last decade or so.

My favorite joke of the episode was hearing Winston singing "Up on the Rooftop, Click Click Click" in the background of the Jess/Nick conversation in the DJ booth. It just kept going through the whole scene, and it got funnier and funnier.

Odo isn't Bajoran, but he's lived among them all his life, and he's in the Bajoran military, so he's kind of a de facto citizen of the planet, isn't he? It's true that the scene might have worked better with a different Bajoran though, since Odo should really agree with Kira about Winn on all counts.

The first sexy thing I remember being shooed away from as a kid was in the Michael J. Fox movie The Secret of My Success, where there's a scene in which an older woman (who later turned out to be his uncle's wife, I think?) is swimming with him and pulls off his swimsuit, then removes her top. I don't think there was…

I enjoyed the Mirror Universe episode because Sisko is clearly relishing playing his role, really getting into being a swaggering tough-guy pirate. It really gave Avery Brooks a chance to let loose with the craziness that he so obviously enjoys.

And the voice. That "NO, NO, NOOO!" when he was turning evil and fighting Samuel L. Jackson was embarrassingly awful.

Mine was Q-Less. It was my first exposure to Q; even though I was a huge Star Trek fan, I hadn't seen all that many TNG episodes. I loved Q without reservation for a long time after that. I told people all about him: "He always goes 'flash!' and disappears!" They must have thought I was a strange kid.

Yeah, that flood of ideas is creepily fantastic, the way he claws his fingers to the bone trying to scratch them out on a wall. I'm trying to remember some of them, but the only one that comes to mind is "A man finds a library card to the Library of Alexandria."

It was this one, after which they changed the rules to make comics ineligible.
