“Black woman who is not doing anything? Two protected classes-can’t kick her out.”
Police in this country swear an oath to protect and serve all citizens, even at the expense of their own life.
I provided you with the definition of the word “proof.” The fact that you decided to interpret the meaning of that word in a very narrow way is on you, not me.
Why did it take you so long to admit that the photo would be used as proof? That was such an odd and pointless lie to keep up for so long.
If your hand-written note about the plate number is sufficient to convince you to believe that you know her plate number than your note would also be proof. Refer back to the definition I posted earlier. There’s no rule that says only photos can act as proof.
What, exactly do you think the word “proof” means? Let’s crack a dictionary and find out: “evidence sufficient to establish a thing as true, or to produce belief in its truth.” If you’re referencing a photo you took in order to establish a licence plate number then you are using that photo as proof.
I’m not sure who you’re trying to reply to, but that wasn’t my post.
I took a photo so that I would have the plate number, so that if she DID decide to completely obliterate my car while leaving her parking spot, I could report a hit and run, and have the plate number handy.
What’s the purpose of keeping it for your own records if it proves nothing? Usually people keep records because those records prove something (a payment was made/received, proof of ownership, etc.).
What is the purpose of the white lines, then, exactly, if the other driver is on equal footing as me for parking across both spots?
At no point would the photo itself be used as proof of anything.
All the photo does is prove that I am properly parked within my space.
What if this was the only spot left available in the parking lot?
If your argument hasn’t changed then your argument is still wrong. Your position was that “you can’t blame the Subaru driver.” That position is simply factually incorrect.
No one is arguing otherwise. What you’re saying now (the Lincoln driver should have parked properly) is very different from your previous claim (You can’t blame the Subaru driver from parking properly within a parking space).
You can’t blame the Subaru driver from parking properly within a parking space.
I did the best I could to mitigate any damage to my car by not going over the line on the other side :)
The other driver is also parked legally. It is not illegal to park over the line in a parking lot (dick move, for sure, but generally lawful dick move). Anyway, whether or not either car was parked legally has no bearing on whether or not the decision that the Subaru driver made to park their car in a manner that any…
Keep in mind that you have a legal obligation to mitigate your own damages. Taking a picture to document that you intentionally parked in a way that would make it difficult for another driver to exit their parking space likely wouldn’t help you as much as you think it would.
I would have deserved it.
