Great assessment. It was a racial/social victory for a big budget movie and I think that is what has given it more polish. But as a movie, it was just good, not great. It just doesn’t add up to the top spots. To me, in my opinion, it’s somewhere in middle 3rd in ranking.

It’s a damn good take. Episodes of The Office with Michael Scott always get me, whereas the majority of Parks and Rec get me giggling like Ron Swanson.

I agree. I had much more fun watching both GOTG movies, Ant Man movies and Thor Ragnarok. Sure, they are more of a comedic style, but the best MCU movies have a little humor in them The Iron Man movies to me, are funny as hell as well. Scalding Take: Parks and Rec was great. Maybe better than the Office in some ways, especially after Michael left. Andy and April did kind of suck after awhile, so did Jim and Pam.
